Watford Area Humanists was established in May 2008 to:-
A) Promote understanding of Humanism in the Watford and South West Herts area through partnerships with the local community and other agencies.
B) Develop programmes for the secular / non-religious needs of children, young people, families and people who live or work in the wider Watford area.
C) Provide local humanist social, educational and cultural activities.
D) Provide a base for the development of Humanist freethinking philosophy.

| Regular meetings
The Watford Area Humanists meet regularly at the Watford Town and Country Club, Rosslyn Road, WATFORD, Herts. WD18 0JX. Our next meeting will be at 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 18th November 2008. All are welcome to attend. |
Social Activities Individual membership of the Watford Area Humanists provides an opportunity to enjoy social activities with like-minded individuals.
We are presently working on a number of events to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin on 12th February 2009 (it is also the 150th anniversary of the publication of his "On the Origin of the Species"). Please get in touch if you would like to be involved in these events.
